WHEREAS the Ci.ty has heretofore created and established a
certain Contingency Fund as authorized by RCW 35A. 33 .145 and '
'_[�$iEREAS it is necessary and advi:a.ble to transfer to the appro-
priate o eratin fund as hereinbelow stated certain sums for a ment

to the King County Health Service program, as required by law and as
per written agreement heretofore executed by and between the City
and the Ki.ng County Health Department, and such transfer being necessary
and in the public i,nterest and for the public benefit, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
0�' RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to make the follo�ring described transfer from the Contingency Fund
unto Health Department fund to pay for services on behalf of Ki.ng County
Health Department, and such payment to be effective as of December
31, 1971, and such funds to be used for no other purpose or purposes :
