I� WHEREAS the City of Renton ha:s various types of parking meters and mechanisms and spare parts as hereinafter more particularly described, and WHEREAS none of said equipment is of any further use or benefit to the. City and there is no foreseeable .requirem.ent for any of said equipment , and WHEREAS it is to the best interest of the City :to declare such equipment surplus and dispose of it in the best and most advantageous manner as heranafter specified, NOW THEREFORE BE IT. RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,. AS FOLLOWS: SECTION T: The aforesaid findings and recitals are ;hereby found to be true and correct in all respects . SECTION II : It is hereby found and determined that the. following pieces of equipmerit are no longer needed for any public use or purpose and there is :no foreseeable requirement or need therefor, and all of said items are hereb.y declared surplus , to-wit : 68 Park-O-Meters complete with mechanisms of the 1-hour, 2-hour, and 6-hour type. Eleveri mechanisms of the Park-O-Meter typej 37 dual cases _ only and .an assortment of spare parts`s�,s _ _ _ i_ ! The City' s Purchasing Agent is hereb.y authorized and directed to advertise for the sale of the abovedescribed equipment , upon sealed bids , and as otherwise provided by law. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid. All equipment shall be sold on a cash basis . SECTION III : All of such equipmerit shall be. sold in its "as is" condition without any warranty,, express� or implied, on the part of the City of Renton. PASSED BY. THE .
