CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION N0. �p��
BE ZT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, L�iASHINGTON, AS FOLLO�nIS:
SECTION I : The City Council of the City of Renton hereby I
requests and petitions the Puget Sound Governmental Conference to give
prompt and thorough consideration to a revision in the allotment of �
voting members within its body so as to provide more adequate and �I
appropriate representation of the smaller cities located within King
County, and to further make such representation more meaningful and
effective to such local governmental entities. '
The City Council of the City of Renton further believes that
the present method of representation and voting rights among the
governmental entities of the Puget Sound Governmental Conference is not
realistic or representative and therefore should be modified for the
reasons hereinabove stated.
