AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 6-10-1, OF CHAPTER 10, CRIMINAL CODE, ADDING TWO
NEW SECTIONS TO CHAPTER 12, DRUG PAR.APHERNALIA, SALES OR
USE, AND REPEAI,ING SECTION 6-18-15 OF CHAPTER 18, PENAL
CODE, AND CHAPTER 23, STATE LAWS ADOPTED BY REFERENCE, OF
TITLE VI (POLICE REGULATIONS) , OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF '
RENTON, WASHINGTON" RELATING TO THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE
OF MISCELLANEOUS STATE CRIMES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. Section 6-10-1 .D of Chapter 10, Criminal Code,
of Title VI (Police Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is
hereby amended to read as follows :

hereby amended to read as follows :

SECTION VII . Section 6-10-1 .R of Chapter 10, Criminal Code,
of Title VI (Police Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled II
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is
hereby amended by adding a new subsection which reads as follows :
R: 26 .28 . 080 and 70 . 155 . 080 as now or hereafter amended, and
all other statutes adopted by reference therein as if fully set
forth herein.
SECTION VIII . Chapter 12 , Drug Paraphernalia, Sales or Use,
of Title VI (Police Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is
hereby amended by adding the following new subsections which read
as follows :
6-12-2 : PRESCRIPTION DRUGS : RCW 69 .41 . 010 69 .41 . 030

69 .41 . 050, 69 .41 . 070 and 69 .41 . 320, insofar as they apply to ,
misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor offenses, are hereby adopted by
reference, as now or hereafter amended, and all other statutes
adopted by reference therein as if fully set forth herein.
6-12-3 : SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any provision of this
ordinance or its application to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, the remainder of the ordinance, or the application of the
provision to other persons or circumstances is not affected.

ORDINANCE NO. 4674
SECTION IX. Section 6-18-15 of Chapter 18, Penal Code, and
Chapter 23, State Laws Adopted by Reference, of Title VI (Police
Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" are hereby repealed.
SECTION X. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its ,
passage, approval, and thirty (30) days after publication.
