ORDINANCE N0. 4592
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, GRANTING
UNTO THE CITY OF TUKWILA THE RIGHT AND FRANCHISE TO USE
AND OCCUPY THE STREETS, AVENUES, ROADS AND OTHER PUBLIC
RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF THE CITY OF RENTON FOR CONSTRUCTING,
MAINTAINING, REPAIRING, RENEWING AND OPER.ATING A STORM
DRAINAGE INTERCEPTOR, PRINCIPALLY ALONG S.W. 16TH STREET
AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN TIiE FRANCHISE
AGREEMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The City Council does hereby grant unto the
City of Tukwila the right and franchise to use and occupy streets,
avenues, roads and other public rights-of-way of the City of Renton
for constructing, maintaining, repairing, renewing and operating a
storm drainage interceptor in the approximate location of S .W. 16th
Street from the City of Tukwila to Springbrook Creek.
SECTION II. The terms and conditions upon which this grant
of franchise is made are detailed in a document entitled "Utility
Franchise Agreement for the Tukwila Storm Drainage Interceptor" ,
which document is incorporated herein as if fully set forth.
SECTION III. This franchise shall become effective upon the I
formal acceptance by the City of Tukwila, which acceptance shall be
attached to the franchise agreement .

SECTION IV. This franchise shall have the duration set I
forth in the franchise agreement .
SECTION V. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and thirty days after publication.
