CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ORDINANCE N0. 4646
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ADOPTING
THE 1996 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROAD, BRIDGE AND
MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION (WSDOT AND APWA) BY REFERENCE.
WHEREAS, a new compilation of standard specifications for
road, bridge and municipal construction is now available; and
WHEREAS, that document is known as the "�996 Washington State
Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road,
Bridge and Municipal Construction" ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has deemed it necessary to make
certain amendments to the 1996 standard specifications; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the public interest to adopt such
standard specifications as amended, as the standard specifications
for the City of Renton;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COi]I�CIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON.,
WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The 1996 WSDOT Standard Specifications for
Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction is hereby adopted by
reference as amended by the City of Renton Amendment to the 1996
Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction
(WSDOT and APWA) , and one copy of said 1996 standard specifications
as amended, shall be filed with the City Clerk as required by law.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective upon passage, �
approval and thirty days after publication.
