HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 4519 Amends ORD 4404 Amended by ORD /+963, 4971 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE N0. 4519 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ' SECTION 4-31-3 OF CHAPTER 31, ZONING CODE, OF TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATIONS) , OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES_ OF , THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON" BY ADOPTING NEW NAMES FOR ZONING DISTRICTS AND COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE DESIGNATIONS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Section 4-31-3, Classification for Use Districts, of Chapter 31, Zoning Code, of Title IV (Building : Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is hereby amended to read as follows : 4-31-3.A: The City has heretofore been divided into a number of use districts . Subsequently, the City has adopted .new names for certain of the zoning categories. without changing the content of the ordinance defining permitted uses for the districts . Since the City is considering reorganizing the Zoning Code to make it easier to understand and use, the City is adopting new names for zoning categories but not amending the text for the individual zones .
