HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 4542 Amer_.ds ORD 4498 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE N0. 4542 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AbSENDING THE LAND IISE DESIGNATION OF TWO SITES OF LAND IN THE COMPREHFsNSIVE PLAN. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Renton has heretofore adopted and filed a "Comprehensive Plan" and the City Council of � Renton has im lemented and amended said "Com rehensive P1 n" f p p a rom time to time, together with the adoption of various codes, reports and records; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has heretofore duly recommended to the Cit Council fr m im y , o t e to time, certain amendments to the Cit ' s "Com rehensive Plan" ; and Y P � WHEREAS, the City of Renton, pursuant to the Washington State Growth Management Act, has been required to review its "Comprehensive Plan" ; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter on May 31, 1995 ; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has made certain findings and recommendations to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has duly determined after due consideration of the testimony and evidence before it that it is , advisable and appropriate to amend and modify the City' s �� �� . Comprehensive Plan , and WHEREAS, such modification to the "Comprehensive Plan" being in the best interests and for the public benefit; � ORDINANCE N0. 4542 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I . The above findings and recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects . SECTION II. The "Comprehensive Plan, " maps, data and reports in support of the "Comprehensive Plan" are hereby modified and amended by changing the designations of two parcels of land as ' follows : Site 1 shall have the designation of EAC (Employment Area Commercial) . Site 1 is legally described as follows : See Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated as if fully set forth. ' Site 2 shall have the designation of RM-I (Residential Multi-family Infill) . Site 2 is legally described as follows : ' See Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated as if fully set forth. SECTION III. ThePlanning/Building/Public Works Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to make the necessary changes on said City' s "Comprehensive Plan" and the maps in conjunction therewith to evidence the afore-described amendment . SECTION IV. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file this ordinance as provided by law, and a complete copy of said document likewise being on file with the office of the City Clerk of the City of Renton.
