CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ORDINANCE N0. 4545
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ADOPTING
THE 1994 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS �FOR ROAD, BRIDGE AND
MtTNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION (WSDOT AND APWA) BY REFEFtENCE.
`.� -"WHEREAS, a new compilation � of standard specifications for
__road, bridge and municipal constr.uction is now available; and
WHEREAS, that document is know as the "1994 Washington State
Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for . Road,
Bridge and Municipal Construction" ; and �.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has deemed it necessary to. make
certain amendments to the 1994 standard specifications; and
. WHEREAS, it would be in the public interest to adopt such
: standard. .specifications as amended, as the standard specifica�ions
for the City of Renton;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The 1994 WSDOT Standard Specifications for
Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction is hereby adopted by
reference as amended by the City of Renton Amendment to the 1994
Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction
(WSDOT and APWA) , and one copy of said 1994 standard specifications
as amended, shall be filed with the City Clerk as required by law.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective upon passage,
- approval and thirty days after publication.
