AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
�STABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF C�RTAIN
PROPERTI�S ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF RENTON TO R�SIDENTIAL-8
D�/AC (R-8) (HOLbIAN) .
fnT�EREAS, . under Chapter 31 (Zoning Code) , of Title IV (Building
Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 known as the "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton, �� as amended, and the maps and
reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow
described has not been zoned in the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, said property owners petitioned the City of Renton for
annexation and concurrent rezoning, which said annexation having
previously been approved and the property annexed to the City of
Renton, and the City Council having held two public hearings to
consider this zoning application, the first hearing being held on
August 14, 1995, and the second hearing being held on December 4,
1995, and said zoning request being in conformity with the City' s
Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly
considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been
heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, ,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION I. The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby zoned to Residential-8 DU/AC (R-8) as hereinbelow
specified, the Development Services Director is hereby authorized
' and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended,
to evidence said rezoning, to-wit :
See Exhibit "A'� attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth herein.
(Said property, approximately . 08 acres, is located at
S .E. 2nd Place, east of Union Avenue S .E . , in the Heather
Downs neighborhood)
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and five days after its publication.

Holman Annexation Legal Description
That portion of Section 15, in Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in King County,
Washington described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of said section, being a point on the existing City limits of Renton as
annexed by Ordinance #3163, also being a point on the centerline of Southeast 2nd
Place(S.E. 136th Street);
Thence northerly 30 feet along the west line of said subdivision, and along said City limits, to
the northerly right-of-way line of said Southeast 2nd Place;
Thence continuing northerly 130 feet along the west line of said subdivision, and along said
City limits, to the southwest corner of Lot 8 of the plat of Goe's Place as recorded in Volume
85 of Plats, pages 12 and 13, records of King County, Washington;
Thence easterly 212 feet along the south line of Lots 8 and 9 of said plat, to an intersection �
with the west line of Lot 10 of said plat;
Thence southerly 130 feet more or less along the west line of said Lot 10 to the northerly
right-of-way line of said Southeast 2nd Place;
Thence easterly and southeasterly along said right-of-way line to an intersection with the
south line of the northwest quarter of said section;
Thence westerly along said south line, and along the existing City limits of Renton as annexed
by Ordinance #3143, also being the centerline of said Southeast 2nd Place, to the Point of
Beginning.
