ORDINANCE N0. 4438
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 4-31-2 OF CHAPTER 31, ZONING CODE, OF TITLE IV
(BUILDING REGULATIONS) , OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON" TO INCLUDE A DEFINITION FOR WIRELESS BASE
STATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTOAT, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. Section 4-31-2, Definitions, of Chapter 31,
Zoning Code, of Title IV (Building Regulations) , of Ordinance No.
4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton,
Washington" is hereby amended by changing the definition of
UTILITIES, MEDIUM to read as follows :
UTILITIES, MEDIUM: Moderate scale facilities_ serving a sub-
area of the City, including power lines, water transmission lines,
wireless base stations, sewer collectors and pump� stations, sub-
regional switching stations ( 115 kv) and similar structures .
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and thirty days after publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 28th day of February , 1994 .
