SECTIONS 4-31-�0.5.A AND 4-31-10.5.8.4 OF CHAFTER 31,
ZONING CODE, OF TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATTONS) , OF .
ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTTTLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF. RENTON, WA5HINC3TON" BY ADDINC*
PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL OFFICES TO THE LIST OF
ADMINISTRATIVE CONDITIONAL USES IN THE CONVENIENCE
COMMERCIAL (CC) ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 4-31-10 .5 .A of Chapter 31, Zoning
Code, of Title IV (Building Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260
entitled "Code ��a.f General Ordinances of the City of Renton,
� Washington" is hereby amended to read as follows :
4-31-10.5..A. Purpose.: The purpose of the Convenience
Commercial Zone (CC} is to provide for small-scale convenience
retail/commercial centers intended to provide for basic retail and
services needs of the adjacent area. Uses serving a larger area
� may be appropriate if they also serve the residents of the
immediate area and are compatible with the scale and character of
the neighborhood in which they are located.
SECTION II. Section 4-31-10. 5.B.4 of Chapter 31, Zoning
Code, of Title IV (Building Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260
entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton,
Washington" is hereby amended by adding subsection e which reads
as follows:
4-31-10.5.B.4.e: Professional and Personal Offices,

1 The total ross floor area of each use in any one site I
( ) 9 ,
shall not exceed three thousand (3, 000) square feet. I'
(2 ) The following criteria:
(i) Activities with a limited need for walk-in
clientele; and
� (ii) Activities for which a reduction in parking
standards to one ( 1) space per five hundred (500) square feet of
gross floor space could be justifiecl.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and thirty days after publication.
