HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 4344 Amends Ord 3918 Amended by ORD 5494 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 4344 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTIONS 10-11-1.0 AND 10-11-1.E, OF CHAPTER 11, SPEED I LIMITS, OF TITLE X (TRAFFIC) , OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON" ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS �N OAKESDALE AVENUE SOUTHWEST AND BENSON DRIVE SOUTH AT THIRTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I SECTION I. Section 10-11-1 .C. 16 of Chapter 11, Speed Limits, of Title X (Traffic) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is hereby � amended to read as follows : 10-11-1.C.16: On Benson Drive South between the south City limits to South Puget Drive, and the posting of signs to that effect on both sides of the highway. SECTION II. Section 10-11-C of Chapter 11, Speed Limits, of Title X (Traffic) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is hereby amended by adding the following subsection: 10-11-1.C.17 : Oakesdale Avenue Southwest from Monster Road Southwest to Southwest 43rd Street, and the posting of signs to that effect on both sides of the street. � SECTIOPi III. Section 10-11-1 .E of Chapter 11, Speed Limits, of Title X (Traffic) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is hereby I�� amended by deleting subsection 2 . 1 ORDINANCE NO. 4344 SECTION IV. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and thirty days after publication.
