CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ORDINANCE NO. 4281
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 9-7-1 OF CHAPTER 7, ROAD, BRIDGE AND MUNICIPAL
CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS, OF TITLE IX (PUBLIC WAYS AND
PROPERTY) OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON" ADOPTING
CONSTRUCTION CODES, STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, AND STANDARD
PLANS AND DETAILS BY REFERENCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 9-?-1 of Chapter 7, Road, Bridge and
Municipal Construction Standards, of Title IX (Public Ways and
Property) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is hereby amended to
read as follows :
Section 9-7-1:
CODE ADOPTED: The 1988 Standard Specifications for Road,
Bridge, and Municipal Construction; published by the Washington
State Department of Transportation, and the Washington State
Chapter of the American Public Works Association as modified or
supplemented by 1988 APWA Amendments to Division One of the 1988
WSDOT/APWA Standard Specificatians, and the City of Renton
Supplemental Specifications; together with the Standard Plans for
Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction; published by the
Washington State Department of Transportation, and the Washington
State Chapter of the American Public Works Association as modified
or supplemented by the City of Renton Standard Plans/Details, are
hereby adopted as the City of Renton Standard Specifications for
Municipal Works Construction. One ( 1) copy of each document is on

' file and made available for examination by the public in the Office
of The City Clerk. Additional copies of these documents may be
purchased or examined at the Public works Department Public
Information Counter.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective up�:� its
