The recent realiJnment of logan Avenue North by the City 01 Renton rec;uires a
corresponding relocation 01 portions of the linear park. and renovaLon of the park's
landscaping. pedestrian walimays. and recreational faor'!ies. The projed site IS
approximalely 2.700 feet tong. and vanes in WIdth. The park area is approximately 5 .9
acres in size. The proposed prOjed ir.dudes demolition of the eJJShng asphalt path and
rcplacement With ;lCMOUS asphalt paving . restonng and rcdcSJgmng lawn areas. and
restoring and updating passIVe nod acllvc recreatIOnal areas. Approxllnatet~' 4.000

Temporary erOSion and sedImentation control Will be Instolted and rTlalfllalned for the

In 2003, the City conducted an Enwonmcnlal Impact Sialemeni (EIS) process that
reviewed the Boeing Company's "Move to the lake" proposal. In thai analysis. it 't\'3S
determined that several manufactunng buildings would become surplus buildings as the
