Mr. Trifts was issued a Finding of Violation in the amount of$100.00 for failure to obtain a demolition permit to remove an incorrectly placed building foundation. The building foundation was poured within the native growth protection easement for this lot. The Finding of Violation was issued on October 22, 2015. The violator has 10 days from the date of issuance to appeal the Finding. The last date to file an appeal would be November 1, 2015. Mr. Trifts filed his appeal on November 17, 2015. I am requesting that you deny this appeal based on the fact that it was not submitted to the city within the ten day appeal period.
