I
WHEREAS THE City af Rentan,tagether w�.th ather munieipal
cc�rporations in the valley, has neretofore agreed �o purchase capies
of a certain railroad crassing study, known as Project IS 69-2001
which said study was assembled by the consultant firm {?Engineered
Industrial Systems of Seattle" and,
WHEREAS the Superior Caurt of the Sta.te of Washington in and
for the Caunty of King, Cause No. 54754 has heretofore issued its
' "Order Deferring Imposition af Sentence" tproba�ion} involving a
certain Helen Shirley Srwin, and
, WHEREAS the City af Kent has heretofore agreed to act as trustee
and escrowee of all funds to be received from said He1en Shirley Irwin,
I or paid on herbehalf, and the City of Kent thereafter to make distribu�ian,
pro-rata, to the variaus cities which have heretafore contributed fioward
, such railroad crossing study, NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESQLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CQUNCIL QF THE CITY OF I

RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS : ,
l. The above recitals and facts are hereby found ta be true and
correct in all respects.
2 . The City of Renton hereby agrees that the City of Kent be
designated as �rustee and escrowee of any and all funds , contributions
or restitution made by or an behalf of Helen Shirley Irwin, arising
out of the above captioned case, and that all such funds be hel� by
the City of Kent and dis�ributed periodically, not less than once a
year, to those cities �hat have heretofore or are herewith contributi.ng
toward the remaining balanee due consultants and others in connection
with said railroad crossing study, Prajeet IS 69-2001 . Said cities
shall be reimbursed by the City of Kent, fram the funds so collected
as aforesaid, in direct proportion to the contribution made by said
! city toward the paymen� of the balance due an such railroad crossing
s-�udy and the City of Kent shall make all reasonable effarts to provide
for the eollection of said funds as specified in King County Superior
Court Cause No. 54754,
