BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The City of Renton acting by and through its
Mayor and City Council herewith expresses its full support in the plans ,
projections and principles in and to a "Community Drug Intervention
Program" which is being submitted,as apply�.ng � by the Board of
Education, Renton School District, Renton, Washington and entitled
as follows :
"PROJECT DESIGN For Oper.ational Grant Funds To Develop
A SCHO.OL AND COMMUNITY DRUG INTERVENTION PROGRAM"
and the City of Renton hereby urges all citizens of the City of Renton,
groups, organizations , .ser.vice clubs and like associations to render
their full support toward achieving a total, coordinated, community-
wide all-encompassing drug intervention program.
SECTION �II: The City of Renton further requests all
governmental agencies and departments, whether federal or state, to
render financial assistance towards the implementation and maintenance
of such program.
