BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AS FQLLOWS :
SECTION I: The Ci.ty af Renton hereby declares its intent
ta fully support the principles and provisions cantained in Hause
Bill No. 207 , State of Washing-�on, 42nd Regular Sessian, for the
reason that such proposed Iegislation would grant untt� e.ach city the
apportunity ta �ave operating expenditures on account of publication
a nd related casts; that such proposed legislation shall be permissive
in charac�er so as to give each municipal corporation the right to
determine, depending on the type and nature of each such ordinance,
cahe�her i� should be published verbatim ar be published by resume
af �he major points of such ardinance containing �.�xe number and title
' of same.
I SECTION II: The City o� Rentan further requests the 42nd
Sessian o� �he State of WAshington Legisla-�ure ta provide far the
applica�ion of House Bill No. 207 ta a�l cities operating under
the Optional Municipal Code, Title 35A.
