WHEREAS a petition has been �iled with the City Clerk
of the City of Renton on or about August '8 , 1971 petitioning �
for the vacation of a certain aortion of street as hereinafter more .
particular�r described and said Petition naving been signed by
more than two-thirds of the property owners abutting upon said �
portion of street sought to be vacated and it being advisable
to set a hearing date on said petition, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOG�S :
SECTION I : That the /�day of October , 1971 at the I

hour of 8 : 00 P.M. at the City Cour.cil Chambers in the City Hall,
Renton, Washington , be and is hereby =ixe� as the time and place
for the hearing and determination of the aforesaid petition for
vacating a portion of the following described street, to-wit :
That portion ot Gen Sing Avenue , adjoining tracts
67 , 68 , 70 and 73 as shown on the Plat of C .D.
Hillman' s Lake Washington Garden of Eden Division
No. 1 , according to the Plat recorded in Volume 11 �
of Plats , page 63 , records of King County , Washington
lying between the ea�erl;r margin of Jones Avenue
Northeast and the Easterly production of the South
line of tract 67 of sub-division .
SECTION II : The City Clerk is hereby authorized and ,
directed to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by �

law, and any and all persons interested therein or objecting to
said vacation may then appear an� be :zeard thereon , or they may
file their written objections tnereto :aith the City Clerk to or ' ,
at the time of the nearing on said vacation. The City Council ,
