' • `Y - �� � _, . , � , �, - ` 1 ;,t�— �b U 5 �F � �- 3� . • � V V s � RESOLUTION N0. f�y� � BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I: The subsistence rate , per diem, for the follow- ing designated officials, to--wit: Mayor, members of the City Council, and all other elected or appointed officials of the City, is hereby fixed at not to exceed $35 . 00 per day while traveling on City business . The subsistence rate, per diem, for all other regularly salaried employees of the City is hereby fixed in the sum of not ��� to exceed $25 . 00� while traveling on City business. Such subsistence allowance, as hereinabove specified, shall only be paid when such official or employee, as the case may be, is engaged in duly authorized City business and for no other purpose or purposes . All claims for payment of such sub- sistence rates shall be supported by proper vouchers and other supporting documents and as further provided by Chapter 74 Session Laws of 1969. In case of all salaried employees the proper department head shall determine when an employee should be authorized to attend meetings, conventions and other activities relating to official City business . In case of the City Council, official boards or commissions of the City, the majority of the members of such bodies shall determine the authorized attendance at such official meetings , conventions and related City activities . .-1-- _ _ � r -- � - �,. " � . � I . . � • S � . � � SECTTON II: In adda.tion to the faregoing subsistenee ra�es, there shall be allowed and paid aetual transportation expenses, ar an allowance of 10� per mile �'or the u.se of a persanal car when authori�ed, whichever is less, together wi�h any taxi fares, telephone calls ar directly related expenses necessarily incident ta the performance of off icial, authorized busine�s. SECTTON TSI: In computing the subsistence allowance abave specified, the calendar day (midnight to midn:ight} shall be the eomputation unit, and for fractional parts of the day ane—fourth of the allowance of the calendar day shall be allowed for each period of' six hours or fraction thereaf . SECTION IV: Resolutions No. 3005 and 1230 and any other resolu-tian inconsistent herewa.th are hereby repealed .
