RESOLUTION N0. 1��0�
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Effective as of January l, 196� � there is hereby
fixed, established and levi�d a service charge imposed upon the
City' s tltility Department which charge shall be in an amount equal
to 1. 5% of the gross value of the Utilities'" Plant ilnprovements ,
including its capital assets within the control of said Department .
The City Treasurer, for and on behalf of said Utility
Department, shall submit to the Gity Council and City Clerk on or
before July l, of each year the valuation of the Utilities ' properties
and assets computed as of December 31�t of the preceding year,
for thepurpose of establishi:ng and fixing the service charge rate
for each such ensuing year and such rate and charges shall be levied
as may be determined by the City Council from time to time and as
further specified in the City' s annual budget.
It is further acknowled ed that the City hasl�retofore

levied for the years 1966 to 1969 inclusive the aforesaid charge of
1. 5o and said charge is reasonable and proper in all respects .
SECTION II : Any and all other Resolutions or Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
