�
WHEREAS the City of Renton has heretofore adopted an Arterial
Street Prognar� in addition to its comprehensive street program for the
ensuing six years , all pursuant to Chapter 7 , Extraordinary Session
Laws of 1961 of the State of Washington, and Chapter 195 of the 1961
Session Laws of the State of Washington, and such programs having been
dul amended and modified from time to time, and

WHEREAS it is now deemed advisal�le, as recommended by the
City Engineer, to update such programs by the designation of Arterial
Streets and highways, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The City' s Arterial Street P�gram, as heretofore
adopted and amended, is hereby further amended and modified by designating
, the streets and highways as specified on the attached Exhibit, labeled
'rExhibit A" and incorporated herein as if fully set forth, as arterial
streets and highways. Furthermore, the City' s Comprehensive Street
Program for the ensuing six years as last adopted under date of July
15 , 1968 , is further amended to include and designate the arterial streets
and highways as specified on the attached Exhibit.
SECTION II : The City Engineer and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to file this amendment with the Director of Highways
for the State of Washington, together with a certified copy of this
Resolution, and as otherwise provided by law.
