HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1636 :{ � ' . � � �, � .� O L/ � ' • ♦ �• �f � � � � ' � � Y � , �� � RESOLUTION N0. ����p RE ANNEXATION ELECTION FOR KENNYDALE "ISLAND" WHEREAS the City of Renton is a Municipal Corporation of the Second Class under the laws of the State of Washington, and WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interest of the owners and residents of that certain parcel of property hereinafter described and being adjace.nt to the preserit limits of the City of Renton, to be annexed unto the City of Renton, and it is hereby further found and determined that it is to the best inerest and serving the general welfare of the City of Re.nton to annex said territory hereinbelow described which is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Renton, and said parcel of property constituting an integral part of the Renton area; NOW THEREFQRE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, [�IASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS : SE�CTION I: It is hereby found and determined that all of the above recitals and findings are true and correct in all respects and that the best interest and general welfare of the City" of Renton, as well as the or�mers and residents of the area sought to be annexed �ould be served by the annexation of the folY�wing described property, to-wit: ; ' �' " l' �' �'� ��Q� i .�L�'"�.' - �� �'�� � r�`�� � � � � . � ' � SECTI'QN II : The number of voters residing in the said territory to be annexed is approximately 5 al .�,., number, as nearly ', as may be determined.
