WHEREAS the City of Renton has certain motor vehicles
as hereinafter more particularly describedy in its equipment rental
fund which vehicles are no longer suitable or usable for the City' s
needs , and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the City and the
general public to dispose of said vehicles on the most advantageous
basis available to the City, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The above facts and recitals are hereby found
to be true and correct in all respects. The Purchasing Agent of the
City of Renton is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the
following described vehicles upon public bid call, to be pubiished
as required by law, to-wit:
1 1966 Ford Custom 4-door sedan----A-62
4 1967 Ford Custom 4-door sedans----A-68, A-70, A-71, A-72
1 1963 Harley Davidson motorcycle�-- M-14
1 1943 International ReadyMix concrete roller---E-15
1 1946 International Hiway Mower W/5 foot sickle bar----E-3
and all of such vehicles to be sold on a cash basis, without warranty,
express or imp�:ied, and all of such sales to be final and conclusive.
The City shall have the right to reject any and all bids and to waive
any �rregularities in the form of the bid.
