CHANGING THE Z4NING CLASSIFICATTON OF CERTAIN
�ROPERTIES WTTHIN THE CITY QF R�NTON FROM GENERAL
CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G-1) TO RESIDENCE SZNGLE FAMSLY
�ISTRICT (R-1 } (R-039-87 CRAFTSMAN HQMES, I�C)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV ( Building Regulatinns) of
Ordinance Na. I62� known as th� "Code �f General �rdinances of
��e City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and rep�rts adapted
in conjunction therewith, the praperty hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as General Clas�i�ication District (G-1 ) ;
and
WHEREAS a praper petiti�n for change o� aone classificatian
af said property has been filed with the Building and Zaning
Department on or abaut May 4, 198?, which petition was duly
referred to the Hearing Examiner f�r investigation, �tudy and
public hearing, and a public hearing having been held therean on
or abaut Qctober 13, 1987, and ��id matter having been duly
considered by the Hearing Examiner and said zoning request havin�
�een granted with conditions and the conditions having been
appealed ta the City Council of the City of Renton and said City
Council having modi�ied the Hearing Examiner' s decision and said
�oning request bein� in conforrnity with the City' s Comprehensive
Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly considered alI
matters relevant thereta, and all parties having been heard
appearing in support thereof or in opp4sition thereto, N�W
THEREFORE
ORDINANCE N0. 4134
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Residence Single Family District (R-
1 ) as hereinbelow specified; subject to the findings, conclusions
and decision of the Hearing Examiner dated November 12, 1987 and
as modified by the City Council on February 1, 1988 , and as
amended on February 8, 1988; the Building and Zoning Director is
hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning
Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein.
(Said property being located on the west side of Duvall
Avenue N. E. between N. E. 17th Street and N.E. 21st
Street)
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its publication
