ORDINANCE NO. 4135
AN ORDIN.ANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AMENDING
SECTION 1-503 OF TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE ) OF ORDINANCE
N0. 162$ ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : Existing Section 1-503 of Title I
(Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinance of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as
follows :
Section 1-503 , as amended: TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS :
A. The City Council shall hold its regular meetings on the
first four Mondays of each month, commencing at the hour of seven
thirty o' clock (7 : 30 ) P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the
City Hall, or at such other place or places that the City Council
may determine from time to time.
B. There shall be regular Council meetings with full
Agenda, including public hearings, held on the first and third
Mondays of each amonth. On the second and fourth �iondays of each
month, the Council meetings shall consist of abbreviated Agenda
to handle essential busin�ss only. Following the abbreviated
Council m2etings an the second and fourth Mondays there shall be
held Committee of the Whole meetings.
C. Additional special meetings may be called by the Mayor
or any four (4 ) members of the City Council by written notice
delivered to each member of the Council at least twenty four ( 24 )

hours before the time specified for the proposed meeting , and as
otherwise provided in Title 35A. 12 RCW.
�ECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty days after publication.
