A RESOLUTION OP THE CIT'Y OF BENTON, WASHINGTON, DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL SATTITARY SEWER LINES
AND APPURTENANCES THERETO IN THE HONEYCSEEK PARK AREa OF
RENTON, KING C4UNTY, W�;SHINGTON, AND TO CREATE A LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID
IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROP�RTIES IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY
BENEFITED THEREBY; NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO
OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AA1D PRESENT THEIR
OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF ?HE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON
MAY 20, 1968.
` BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Renton, Y�ashington, to construct and install the following sanitary sewer lines,
including trunk sewer, accessories and appurtenances thereto, in the following
described area of the City, to-wit:
(a) All those portions of Honey Creek Park, recorded in V 1. 59 of
Plats, Page 57, records of King County, Washington, and o# the
Southwest One-�uarter of the Southeast One-�uarter of ;iection 4,
Townahip 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , described as follows:
Al1Ha� Creek Park according to the Plat recorded in Vox. 59
of Plats, Page 57, records of King Couaty, Washiagton; less the
proposed Park Site; LESS those portions of Lots 5 � 6, Block 1,
lying easterly of the following described line: beginning at a
point on the aortherly line of said Lot 5, 24.48 feet westerly
of the northeast corner thereof; thence southerly of the most
v�esterly corner Chereof, TOGETHER with the east 444.32 feet of
the west 662.32 feet of the Southwest One-;�uarter of the Southeast
One-cluarter of Section !+, Towaship 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. ,
lying northerly of Sunset Boulevard (SR 900) LESS the West 34.32 ,
feet; thereof lying southerly of the northerly 167.11 feet.

and there shall further be included the performance of such work as a;ay be incidental
and necessary to the foregoing construction aad installation.

?he City Council may, in ita discretioa, a4odify and amend the detnils
� of the fore$oiag described improvement, includiag the finaacing thereof, wt►ere in
its judgmeat it sppeara advisable, provided such modifications sud ameadments da not
aubstaatially alter the ganeral plan of asid improvement project. All of the foregoing
shall be in accordance with tHe plans and spscificatione therefor to be prepared bq
tbe City Sagineer of the Citq of ReaCoA. �

assessed against the property specially beaefited by auch improvameat to be included
in the,,local improvement distrlct to be established, embracing as near as maq be �11
property s�ecially benef ited by such improvemenC, exceQt that the City �ltall make
available for usage in connectioa ��ith the proposed fmprovemeats� a certain lift
station located at the N.E. corner o£ Lot 9, Block 1 of Roney Cretk Park addition
as recorded� Vol. 59, Pg. 57, ILecords of King County, Washington.to connect to the
Sunset flighc�ay Trunkline. Themm �hall be included in the cost and espense .of said
improv�ement. all cost items specif i.ed in RCW 35.44.020.
