"acilities by and on behalf of the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle, commonly known as Metro, it is no longer necessary and in the public interest to continue the use and operation of said plant site as described and said property being excess or surplus property and not needed by the City of Renton or any Department, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The above recitals are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects. SECTION II : The following described property, comprising the City's sewage treatment plant site is hereby declared surplus and no longer needed or usable for any public purpose or use, to-wit: A portion of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 7 , Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. ; described as follows: Beginning at the south margin of 6th Avenue North and the west margin of Logan Street North according to deed recorded under King County Auditors File No. 3261297; thence north 89°34'11" west (Lambert Meridian, North Zone) , along the south margin of 6th Avenue North, 674.57 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing north 89°34'11" west, along said south margin, 441 .54 feet to the easterly right-of-way line of Commercial Waterway District No. 2; thence South 12°47 '42" east, along said right-of-way line, 328.72 feet to the intersection with a line parallel with and 320.00 feet south of , measured at right angles to, the south margin of 6th Avenue North; thence south 89°34'11" east along said parallel line, 366.34 feet; thence north 0°25'49" east 320.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; subject to a 15' Utility Easement over the westerly 15' thereof, situate in King County, State of Washington Containing 2.97 Acres , more or less. Together with a complete Sewage Treatment Plant and Appurtenances. The Mayor and the appropriate committee of the City Council are hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary action to dispose of said property on the most favorable terms to the City of Renton, after approval thereof , and subject to final approval of the City Council.
