Wf�REAS, the City of Renton Ordinance No. 1794 has heretofore been passed
and approved providing for the construction and installation of a sanitary seiaer
system in the Talbot Hill area pursu�nt to Resolution No. 1004, further authorizing
the cali for bids for the construction work, and
WHEREAS sucta call for eids had been duly published and the foZlowing bids
had been received and opened at the regular Council Meeting of the City of Renton
on December� 1959, to-wit:

WHEREAS it has been determined that all of such bids are in excess of the
� amouat estir.iated by the City Engineer and it being considered in the hest interes�
of t;�e City t� reject al�. of said hids, NOW T:-�EREFORE
' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR .AND THE CITY COUNCIL flF THE CITY OF RENTON:
SECTION I: The above Facts and recitals are hereby found to be true and
correct in all respects. It is in the best interest of the City and the property
owners affected by said Local Improvement District to reject any and all af sai� bids,
as above specified. The City Engineer is hereby �uthorized and directed to preQare
and publish a new ca11 for hids and to make such revisions and amendinents in the
plans and specifications as may be necessary and advisable. The City Clerk is further
instructed to cause such notice for the invitation of bids to be published, as re-
quired by law, and that such bid� be opened at the regular Council Meeti,ng on January
12, 19b0. ,
