tJHEREAS the City of Renton, a city of the second class, is entitled to
have a representative on the Metropolitan Council, and
WHERFAS a vacancy exists at the present time due to the fact that the
Cityts former representative, JOE R. BAXTER, has vacated said position effective
a s of June 6, 2 9 6 0, NOGT TI�REFORE,
BE IT RESOI,VED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOZI.UWS: '
I. Mayor FRANK ALIMENT is hereby appointed and selected by the City
Council of the City of Renton to act as representative on the Metropoli�an
Council on behalf of the City of Renton and said FR.ANK ALIMENT to continue in
said office until further actian by the City Council or as otherwise provided
by law.
