RESOLUTION N0. f Z1�'�
WtiEREAS, a petition for the approval of a final plat for the sub-
division of a certain tract of land within the City Limits of the CITY OF RENTON
as hereinafter more particularly described, has heret�fore been presented to
and filed with the City Council and the City Pianning Commission,- and it appearing
that the preliminary plat therefor has heretofore been approved by King County
and the County Agency having proper jurisdiction thereover, and
G:HEREAS, after due investigation the �lanning Commission of the CITY OF
RENTON has considered and recommended the approval of said .final plat, subject to
certain conditions and variances, and said matter having come on for review before
the City Council of the CITY 0F RENTON on July 19 and July 26, 1960,and
WHEREAS the City Council has agreed to approve said final plat and to
grant certain variances in co-nnection therewith, and the approval thereof being
deemed proper and advisable, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOIt AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLIAWS;
1, The final plat heretofore submitted and approved by the City Council
of the CITY OF RENTON, pertaining to property described as:
J. R. Gatten Addition, satne being a replat of Tract 2I8 of .C. D.
Hillman�s Lake j��ashington Garden of .Eden Division No. 4, located
in Section 5, Township 23 North, Range 5 E. ,W. .M., all located in
Renton, King County, Washington
is hereby approved as such plat, subject to the laws and ordirtances of the CITY
OF RENTON, but granting unto said plattor certain variances frotn the terms and
conditions of the CITY�S .Platting Ordinance, which variances are as follows:
a. Reducing the width of required surfacing from 32 feet to �� ft.
and to permit the use of a light bituminous surfacing thereof.
b. To elimictate the requirements for the installation of concrete
curbs, gutters and sidewaiks. /
