R:�SOLUTION N0. 1075
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FORNt OF COOPERATION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REN`POPT AND THE
H4USING AUTHORI'ItY OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AND
AUTHORIZING ITS EXECUTION.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of �he City of Renton (herein>
after called the "City") has posted the public notice that the '
City Council of the City will on the bth day� of Decemb i� ,
Z960, consider at its regular meetin.� a resolution for an
agreement between the City and the Housing Authority of the Cit� I
of Renton (hereinafter called the "Local Atx�horit�"j, all pursuant
to Section 35.83.030(10) of the Revised Code of Washin�ton; and
WHEREAS, the Local Authority and the Public Housing
Adminis�Gration (hereinafter called the "PHA") are con�emplating
entering into an Annual Contributions Contr�ct for the develop-
ment of a low-�rent housing pro ject in the C3.ty; ar�.d
WHEREAS, 3.t is the desire of the City to enter in�o a
Cooperation Agreemen.t wi.th the Local Authority pursuant to the
Housing Coope�a�i.on I,aw of the State of Washington;
NOW, THEREF4RE, BE IT RES�LVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS
FOLLOWS:
l. The Cooperation Agreement, a copy of w�iich is
attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", is hereby approved
both as to form and substance.
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute as many I
counterparts of said Cooperation Agreement as may be required
by the PHA and the Ci.ty Clerl� is hereby authorized to attest
to said sign�ture and �o impress the official seal of the
City on all eAecuted counterparts of the Cooperation Agreement.
3. This Resoluti.on shall take effect immediately and
need not be laid over or published or posted, all pursuant to
See�ion 35•$3•060 of the Rev3.sed Code of Washington.
