WHEREAS the Ci,ty of Rentan has been the awner of a certain irregular
shaped parce� of praperty located at 2lbth Avenue S.E., RenCan, King County,
W�ington, which property had h.ereto�ore been used as a tower tank site b���- the
Water Department of the City, and I
WHEREA.S it has been de�ermined that said site is no Ionger needed
or af any use or beitefit to the City of Rentan or to any o£ zts I?e�artmen�s but
is in fact surglus, and
WfTEREAS it is advisable �o disp�se of said parcel of property and bids
for the purchase thexeaf t►aving here�.ofore been called, now therefore,
BE IT RESt3LVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COLTl�3CIL 4�' THE CITY OF RENTC?Id

- SEC2ION I: The above facts and recitals a�e hereby faund to be
true and correct. The herefnbeZow described praperty is hereby declared surplus
I property and of no further use or benefit to the City of Renton, or any o� its
Aepartrnents an� same should be disposed of upan the�ost favorable terms to the City.
it is further found that af`ter due appraisal af said property the fair cash
market value of same is fixed a�,d determizted ta be the sum of '$9St3:00, which sum
is hereby foun.d to be reasonable and proper;
SECTION Ii; Th�t in answer to a certain eall far bids by Che Water
i , Department of the City, Lewis Purcell and Rudolph Zaputil have submitted a
writtert bid unto the City ta purchase said property for the sum of $950.00 cash
I and said bid being the highes� and best bid for the City. I
