RESOLUTION N0. l//i
WHERE�S the City of Renton has heretofore acquired an interest as per a certain
"Heed of Dedica�ion" dated June 11, 1958 in which the Housing and Home Finance Agency,
Public Housing Administration, is the Grantor and the City of Renton, a municipal corporation,
the Grantee, which Deed of Dedication is recorded with King County Auditor's .office,
receiving No. 4920152; and
WHEREAS the Housing �uthprity of the City of Renton has heretofore requested
the City of Renton to convey unto it a portion . of said property for the purpose of
constructing, operating and maintaining public housing of low rent; and
WHEREAS the City of Renton had heretofore entered into and executed a certain
"Cooperation Agreement" with the Housing Authority of the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS it is deemed to the best interest of the City and for the public
I benefit and welfare to convey unto the Housing �uthority of the City of Renton the herein-
below described property in coasideration of the mutual benefits and advantages for the
purpose of constructing, operating and maintaining thereon a low rent public housing project;
now thereEore
- BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
Section i. The foregoing recitals and facts are .hereby found to be true
and correct in a21 respects.
Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Renton are hereby
autihorized and directed to execute that certain Quit Claim Deed, attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein, therein conveying unto the Sousing Authority of the City of
Renton, the following described parcel of property;
That portion of Tract "5-B" of the corrected plat of Renton
Highlands No. 2 as recorded in Volume 57 of plats on pages 92
to 98 incl., records of Rinp� Co�u,�t , �a�h�ington, lying northerly
o� a line parallel with,/�$ec1 b�b` ��c.�eL��'`�1t'tl'��l'�so�°�he northerly
line ot said Tract "5-B" , all situated in King County, Washington.
and to furtlier execute and deliver any additional documents necessary to ef£ectuate said
transfer and conveyance. �11 costs of recording and other expenses incidental to said
transfer to be borne by the Grantee.
