SECTIO�i I. The CITY OF RI�IZ"ON, a nunicip�l carporation, herebp respectfully
requests the W�SHiNGTON UTILITIES AND TREINSPOR'TATION COMMISSIO� to give all due con-
sideration and attention to the prablec� presentiy f2cing m�r►y of the CITY'S
r.esidenLs in having made av�ilab2e groper znd adequ�te bns service and ta primarily
improve upon the schedules and services pxesently r.►ainteined by TH� GREYHClURYI1 CORPbRA-
TION. Particular2y the attention af the COMMISSI4N is hereby directed to the location
of the nekr interstata highway syste�► and related impravements thereto within the
City li.ciits and its i��:�edi�te ettvirons ��hich �ave resulted itt the qu�si isolatian
of cert2in areas, such as the so-called Talbot Hill are� and others siz�iarly situatsd,
within the CITY OF RENTON. It is of utmost impo�rtance therefare tttat continuous $nd
adeqttate bus service and sir�il�r transportation be provided for said citizens at
reasonaDle rates.
SECTION IIs The City Council hereby declares its willingness Lo provide,
upon request, any additional infarc�ation or data that may re�sonably be requested by
the taASHIP�TON UTILITTES AND fil2�iI�SPORTAT'ZQN CON�IISSION at the above hearing or any
oontinuance thereof.
