'��'HEREAS Greater Seattle is considered a better than avera�e community
interested in sports activity as shotian by attendance at TIinor League and colle ge
events throug�out the years� and
WHEREAS the establishment of TZajor League baseball representation would
invite an increased number af visitors into our area� stimulate economic activity?
and provide a source of additional tax revenue for the State, .�County, and Greater
Seattle and furth.er constitute a tremendous public relations channel for this
