AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REN'TUN, WASHINGT�ON, CHANGING �
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATIOIV OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES G7ITHxN THE
CiTY OF RENTON FROA1 "G�NERAL CLASSiFICATION DISTRICT" TO
"HEAVY INDUSTRY DISTRICT" (H-1) .
WHEREAS under Chapter VII , Title IV (Business Regulations) of Ordinance
No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Or�inances of the City of R,en�on", as amended ,
and the maps aaopted in conjunctioa therewith, the properties hereinbe2ow described ,
h.ave heretofore been zoned as General Classification District, and
WH�REAS a proper petition for change of zone classificatioa of said properties
has been filed with the City on or about September 25, 1964, which petition was then
referred to the Pianning Commission for investigation, study anc pnblic nearing, and
a public hearing having been held thereon on or about October 28, 1964; all pursuant
to notice of hearing culy published anc� posted as grovidec by law; ane said matter
having been duly considered by the Planning Commission, and petitioners having duly
amen�e� their petition, an� all parties h3ving been hear� appearing in support there�of
or in opposition thereto� NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY T�iE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REN?QN�
AS FOLIAWS:
SECTION I: The fo3lowing �escribe� parcel of property in the CITY OF RENTON
is hereby rezone� to Heavy Industry District (H-1); the City Engineer and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized anc� zirectec to change the maps of the Zoning flr�:inance,
as amenc:ed , to evic�ence sai� rezoning:
The NW�y of the P1GJ4 of Section 30, Township 23 North, Range S E.W.M..,
Renton, King County, Washington, except the north 30 feet thereof.,
The following portions of Section 25, Township 23 iVorth, Range 4 E.E�).M. ,
Reaton, King County, G,Tashington:
1. All of Government Irot 9 iyiag south of the south line of the
Bow Lalce P ipe Line right of way.
2. Tt�at part of the Henry Mea��er pon3tion Claim lying southerly
of the $ow Lake Pipe Line right of wzy an� easterly of the
northerly extension in a straight line of the east line of
Government Lot 20, said Section 25.
All situate in Renton, King County, �ashington.
SECTION II: This Or�inance shall be in full force and effect from aad after
its passage, approval aa� legal publication. ����2�
