= AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, �sIASHINGTON, CIIAMGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAII3 PROPERTIES WITHIN THE
CITY OF REN'I'ON FROM BUSINE5S DIS1'RICT (B-1) TO LIGHT INDUS'I'RY
DISTRICT (L-1)
l�1HEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Business Regulations) of Ordinance
Noe 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton,'� as amended,
and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described
have heretofore been zoned as Business District (B-1) , and
{VHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said pronerties
has been filed with the City on or about February 4, i965, which petition was then I
referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing, and
� public hearing having been held thereon or about February 24, 1965, all pursuant
ta notice of public hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said
matter having been duly considered by the Planning Comriission, and all parties having
been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NOW THEREFORE
, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNGIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
AS FOLLOj9S:
SECTION I : The following described parcel of property in the CITY OF RENTON
i,s hereby rezoned to Light Industry District (L-1) ; the City Engineer and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance,
as ar,iended, to evidence said rezoning:
The E 85' of the N 300' of the S 330' of �� 1/2 of W 1/2
of the SE 1/4 of SlV 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 9, Twp. 23
R 5 E. ['JaP�1,
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal pub2ication, and shall _supersede Ordinance No. 2139
w}�ich latter Ordinance is hereby repealed.
