AN Oi2DINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHING'It7N, FIXING
THE AMOUNT, FORI�?, DATE, INTEREST P.ATE AND P�ATURITY OF
INSTALLMEI+IT NOTE A1VD DI�2ECTING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE
THE'i.2E0F UNTO THE CITY OF RENTON'S FIREMEI�PENSION FUND,
RELATING TO LOCAL IMPi20VIIrlENT DISTRICT N0. 252.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE NlAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHiNGTON, AS FOLIAWS:
Section 1: That the total amount of the assessment roll in Local Improve�en�
District N�. 252 , as approved and confirmed by the City Council on February 15, 1965,
as per Ordinance No, 2135, was the sum of $17 ,888.42, the thirty (30) day period for
making cash payment af assessments without interest in said district expired on
P�arch 26, 1965, and the total amount of assessments paid in cash was the sum of
�5,053.70, leaving a balance of assessments unpaid on the assesscnent roll in the su�
of $12 ,834.72. Therefore an installment note in the totaZ principal amount of �12 ,83f�. ;�:.
shall be issued to the C ity of Renton Firemen's Pension Fund and said note and pay�e��
record therefore shall be in the form attached hereto, labeled Exhibit A, and �ade a
^ar* of this Ordinance as if fully set forth herein, which note and payment record
shall. be issued as provided by Chapter 165, laws of 1961.
Section 2: Saad 'instal2ment note shall be signed by the Mayor and attested
by the Clerk and shall have the seal o£ the City oE Renton affixed thereto.
Section 3: That in accordance with the offer of the Firemen`s Pension Fund ,
duly accepted by the City Council on Sp�t. 2c�� I�, said installment note shall immedial.'�i�T
be delivered to said Firemen's Pension Fund in exchange for the principal amount of
said note, together with accrued interest to April 7� 1965.
Section 4: The aforesaid note and any non-interest bearing default of
installment interest certificates shall be subject to the same redemption priviiP�*�-
as applied to any local improvement district bonds and warrants as now provided in
R.�.W. 35.54 et. seq.
