AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENT'�N, WASHINGZ10N, CHANGING ` `
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM GEATERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTI2ICT (G-7200)
TO BUSINESS DISTRICT (&-1)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII , Title IV (Business Regulations) of Ordinance
No, 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of i2enton", as amended, .
and the maps adopted in conjunetion therewith, the properties hereinbelow described
have heretofore been zoned as General Classification District (G-7200) , and
WHEREA.S a proper petition for change of zone ciassification of said properties
has been filed with the City on or about March 1 , 1965, which petition was then
referred to the Planning Corn�ission for investigation, and a public hearing havittg been
held thereon on March 24, 1965, all pursuant to notice of public hearing duly publishe�
and posted as provided by law; and said matter having been duly considered by the
Planning Co�mission, and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof
or in opposition thereto, NOt�] THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AMAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL �F THE CITY OF RENT�ON AS
FOLIAWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the CITY 0� RENTODT
is hereby rezoned to �usiness District (�-1) ; the City Engitteer and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance,
as amended , to evidence said rezoning:
�A� That portion of the East 280 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of the
Southeast 1/4, Section 4, Township 23 North, 2ange 5 East 6iT.M. , described
as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Section; thence N.
0°58'S8" E. , along the east line of said Section 188.44 ft, thence N.
64°34'S2" GT. , 32.95 feet to the West line of 132nd Ave. S.E. and the
true point of beginning; thence continue N, b4°34'S2" [�T. 274.60 feet to
the west line of the East 280 feet of said subdivision; thence N. 0°58'S8"
E. 168.30 feet to the southerly line of Pri�►ary State Highway No. 2; thence
S. 54°21'22" E. along said line 303.94 feet to the west Iine of 132nd
Ave. S.E. thence S. 0°58`58" GJ, along said west line 109.04 feet to the
true point of beginning, all situate in Renton, King County, Washington
(B) The South 113.89 feet of the 67est 264 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 3, Twp, 23 North, Range 5 East, 6d.M. , LESS
the West 164 feet thereof, LESS Coal and Mineral rights. ALSO: the
T�Jest 264 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 3,
Twp. 23 North, Range S East, W.M, , lying South of State Highway No. 2,
LESS the 5outh 113.89 feet thereof, LESS the �Jest 30 feet thereof for
road, LESS Coal and Mineral Rights, all situate in Renton, King County,
Washington.
(C) The East 493 feet of the West 757 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 lying southerly of Primary S�ate Highway ff2, all situate
in Renton, King County, Washington
