A�1 ORDID?ANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGT0�1, CHANGING
THE ZONING CIASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTI�S F7ITHIN
THE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDEI�TIAL DISTRICT (R-2) TO
�USIIV�SS DISTRICT (B-1}�
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Business Regulations) of Ordinance No.
1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and
the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described have
heretofore been zoned as Residential District (R-2) and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classif ication of said properties
has been �'iied vith the Cif�r Clerk on or about l�Tovember 3, 1964., which petition was
then referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing,
and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about November 25, 1964, all
pursuant to notice of hearing duly publ ished aL3d posted as provided by law; and said
matter having been duly considered by the Planning Commission, and all parties having
been heard appearing in support thereof or in o�position thereto, NOW THEREFOR�
BE IT ORI�INED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF R�NTON AS
FOLLUraS;
SECTION I�: The following described parcel of property in the CITY OF RENTON
is �ereby rezoned to Business District (B-1); the City Engineer and the Planning
Director 8ce $t�arabg stit�o�i�ed and dit�cted to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance,
as amended, to evidence said rezoning:
Lots 21 and 22, Block 12, Car Works,�lddition to Rer�ton, accordin� to
t-he Plat thereof recorded in Volume 15 of Plat�, pa�e �7, records of
1Cing Coun'�y, Wasliingtor�; Less St�te Hi�hw�y.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, �pproval and legal publication.
