FLUMBING CODE, I954 EIJITIdN" as issued by the t{lestern Plumbing Of�icials A�sociation,
and adapted at the 34th annua2 canferertce, t3etober, 19b3, has heretc�fore been f iled in
I the o£f ice of the City Clerk of the City of Rentan for use and examinati.on by the public,
and it is deemed advi�able to adopt s�id Cade by reference as pravided by 1aw, as
amended and revised hereinbelow, tagether with any amendments, additians or modif ic�tions

SECTION 'I: The said "UNIFORM PLiJMBING CODE, 1964 EDITION" as issaed by the
t�estern P1u�►bing {}fficials Assaciation, adopted at the 34th annual conference, October,
1963, o� whieh not less than three printed copies in baok form have heretQfore been
� f iled in the off ice o� the City Clerk and made availab2e for exami.nation by the gubl ic,
is hereby adopted and established as the "UNIFORM PLUMBING CqDE, 19f4 EDITTON" for the
City of Renton which code may be hereafter designated as "CiTY UNIFORM PLtTMBZNG CODE,
I 1954"; EXCEPT HCWEVER that Section I.I3 of said Cofle is hereby deleted and in lieu
thereaf the £ollawing substitute section is hereby adopted, to-wit:

SECTiON II: By the reference thereto made hereinabave, said "'UNIFORM PLUMBING
�ODE,. I964 EDITION", together with any and alI amendments,. madif icatians or additions
thereta hereafter printed or filad with the City Clerl� as hereinabove specified, and as
� above amended, are hereby incorporated in and u�ade a part c�f this Ordinance as fu3.�y
and with the same effect as i.f set aut herein in full, or as if adopted by subsequent
Ord i:n��ncA� arnenda tory hereaf.
' SBCTZON ZII: This {�rd inance sha21 not be construed to rel ieve f rom ar
lessen the responsibility of any person owning, building� altering, constructing or
moving any building or structure as def ined in the aforesaid Code; nor shall. ths
CITX dF RE�fit7N or any agent therecaf be held as assuming such 1 iabil ity by reason o£
inspection authorized herein or a Certificate of Inspection £ssued by the CiTY or any
of i�s agencies.
SECTIOIV ZVs Whenever the term "Administrative Authari�y" is used in tk�is
Code it shall be construed ta mean the Building Director o£ the City of Rentan, or his.
duly authorized representative or agent.
SECTIflN V: Chapter 2 of Title IV �Building Regulations} aE Ordinance No� 1628
entitled "Code af General Ordinancss of the City of Renton" and any other ordinances or
p.=,--ts of ordinances in confl ict herewith are hereby repeeled,
SECTION VI: This drdinance shall be in full f orce and effect Pram and af ter
