WHEREAS, since the adoptio� o€ the 1965 Annual Budget of the City of II
Renton it has become necessary to pravide far the expenditures of certain funds,

aIl af which were z�oC fareseeable at the time af the adaption of said Budget, �
necess�.tated hy the conatruction and need €or gubli:c access by the Federa3, State and �I
City gavernments for the North Renton Iz�terchange Highway project, all of which are II
urgently r►eeded and in the public interes� and far the gblic welfare, and a general
obligation bond issue for such improvementsh�ringhereCofore been approved by the
voters of the City of Ren�an in 2964, and
WHEREAS it is r�ecessary to appropriate and authorize the expenditure
of said funds saoC prpvided for f.n the 19bS Annual City Budget, NOW THEREFORE,
BE TT OiLDA.�IdEil BY 2HE MAYOtt AND THE CITY C4UNCIL pF THE CZ'�Y OF RENTON,

SECTI4N I•. The foregoing recital$ and facts are hereby found and determine�t
to be true and existing , and by reason thereof the City Council daes hexeby declare
that an emergency exi.sts.
SECTiQN ZI: There are hereby allowed and esCab2ished the foilawing sums
for expenditure in the fall.owing classification established in said 1965 Annual
Budget, and said su��s are apprapriated for expen�liture for the impravement aud •-:.:. •
construction, including land acquisition and rfghts of waq, for the North Rentpn
Interchange praject, to-wit:

SECTIt�N III: This Ordinance is an Emerger►cy Ordinance which shall not be
vated on until one week. shall have e2apsed after its initroduction, and a copy thereof
shall be pablished as a propased Ordinance, tagether with a notice for the time set
for voting thereon.
SECTION IV. This Qrdznance shall be in full force and effect fram and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
