AN ORDINAI�E � THE CIZY OF RENTON� WASHINGTON, CHANGING
' THE ZONING CIASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPER'I'Y WITHIN THE
� CITY OF REnTQN FROM GENERAL CIASS3FICATION DISTRICT (G-6000)
� TQ LIGHT INDUSTRY DISTRICT (L--1)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Business Reguletions) of Ordinance No. i628
ic:�wn as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and the maps
� adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as General Classification District (G-6000), and
; WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
has been f iled with the City Clerk on or about August 24� 1965, which petitian was then
referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing, and
a public hearing having been hel.d thereon on or �bottt September 22, 1965, all pursuant
to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by 2aw; said matter having
been du2y considered by the Planning Cammission, and all parties having been heard
appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NoW 'i'F�REFORE I
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Cl2Y OF RENTON AS FOLLQniS:
SECTION I: The following described praperty in the City of Renton is hereby I
razaned to Light Industry District (I,-1); the City Engineer and the Planning Director �
are herebq authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, '
�o evidence said rezoning, as fo2lows:
Lots I7 and 18, Block 28, C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens Addn. �,
to the City of Seattle, Div. No. 2, according to plet thereof recorded i
in Voi. 17 of Plats, page 74, records of King County, State of Wash-
ington, alZrsituated in Renton, x�,ng eoanty, Waahingtan.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shali be in fuli f orce and eEfect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 15th day of November, 1965.
