ANI� SfiREET PLAN" AS PART OF THE �CITY'S CC)MP�EHENSI�E PLAN
'WNEREAS the City of Reri-ton �has here.tof ore adop.�ted and �e-�adopted a
Comprehensive Pi�n for the 'physical development of tihe City of Renton which Rlan
has heretofore 'been amended and implemented .from time to time, and
G�1iEREAS said Comprehensive �lan �.futther r.equires the implementation by
means of adopting, as a part thereof, :an '�Arterials and Street .Blan", an3
WHEREAS t�he Planning Commiss.�:on of t,he City of Renton�:has heretofore duly
prepared such a pTan as a part of and as .an iinplementat.fon of �he Coaprehensive Plan
heretofore adonted, and public hearings ha�ring been held by the Planning Commission
on said "Arterials and Street 'P3:an'� on ar about July 21 and A�gust 25, 1965, and a
fu�ther public hearing h�ving been held before the City Council of the City of Renton
, on or about December 13, 2965 in the Cauncil Chambers of the City of Renton, after
'due not'ice thereof, and all par��ies appearing in f-a�or of or .in opposition to, said
implementing plan having been duiy heard at such hearings, N04d THEREFORE
BE IT ORi3AINED BY THE MA�OR AND 'i'HE CI'i'Y COUNCIL OF :�HE CITY OF RENTON,
GTASHINGTON, AS FOLI;OWS:
SECT�ON �I: That certain "Arterials and St�reet.�lan.", a eopy of which is
attached hereto and "incorpox�ated herein as if fully set forth, be and .the same is
hereby adopted as a part of and in further implementation of the Gity's;.Comprehensive
Plan for the physical devei:opment of the City- oE. Renton, and same shall supers.ede
any plans and/or reports heretofore adopt�ed and inconsistent herewith.
�ECTiON. II; All Ordinances ancl Resolutions or:.parts�thereof, including
but not limi�ed to Ordinance I�o. 2199, in conflict�with: the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby �epealed.

SECTION III: This Ordinance sha11 be ua full fosce and effect from and after
� its passage, zpproval �and legal �ublication..
