AN QRDINANCE OF T€�E CITY OF RENTON, GIASHINGTI�N ANNEXING �
CERTAZN TERRITORY TO THE CITY QF 12ENT+ON.
WHEREAS under the provisions of R.C.W. 35.13.230, as amenc3ed, a petition in
writing requesting that certaia territory contiguous to the city limits of the CITY OF
BENTON, as hereinafter more particularZy de�cribed, be annexed to the CiTY was duly
preseated and f i2ed with the C ity Clerk on or about December 6, 1965; and
WHEREAS priflr to the filir►g and circulation of said petition for annexation�
the petitioning owners had duly n�tified the City Cfluncil of their intention to commence
such proceedings as provided by law and upon public hearing thereon, it having been deter-
mined and the petitioning owners having ao agreed to assume the pre-existing bonded in-
debtedness of the CITY OF REN'TON as same pe rtains to the territory petitioned to be
annexed as further specified in R.C.kI. 35.13.125 et seq; and
WHEREAS the City Engineer has du2y examined and verified the signatures
thereon and determined the asaessed valuation o€ all the properties, the same being
in excess of 75% of the area so petitioning in value as provided by 1$w; which getition
also sets forth the Iegal description of the property according to governmental legal
subdivision or Qlat, and the Planning Caarnissioa of the CITY OF RENT�N having duly
considered and recommended the annexing of said property to the CITY; and
WHEREAS a Board of Review was duly called as provided by law but its pro-
ceedings having been dispensed with upon unanimflua agreement of the Qembers of such
Board of Review; and
WHERFAS the City Council fixed January 17� I965 at tt�e City Council Chambers
in the City Hali as the time and place for public hearing upon said Qetition, notice
thereflf having been given as provided by law; and
T,t�iEREAS pursuant to such notice� a public hearing has been held at the ti.ne
and place specified in the aforesaid notice, and the Council having duly considered
all matters in connection with said petition and further determitted that all legal
requirements and procedures of the law have been fully cornplied with; NOtJ THEREFORE
B�S IT OR�INED BY THE �'lAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI.TY OF RENTON
AS FflLLOWS:
SECTION I: The af oresaid €indings aad recitals are hereby f ound to be true
and correct in all resgects. It is further determined that the above mentioned petition
for annexation to the CITY OR RENTON of the property and territory hereinbelow des- I
cribed be and the same is hereby approved and granted; and t:ze following described
property, being contiguous to the City Limits of the CITY OF RENZ�?1V, be and the same
is hereby annexed to the CITY OF RENTI�N and such annexation to be effective on and

after the apprvval , passage and publication of `this Ordinance; and on and after sai� �
date said territory sha11. be and constitute a part of the EITY OF :�tENTON and sha12 be

The northeast one-quarter of the nartheast one-quarter of ,
the southwest one-quarter of the northwest �ne-quar�er of
Section 10, Township 23 North, Range 5 East� t�7.P4. , aIl situated
in King County, tlashiagton.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage� approval and publicatifln as provided by law. A certified copy of
this Ordinance shall be filed with tt►e Board of County Commissioners of King County.
State of Washington, and as otherwise provided by law.
