AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHiNGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONiNG CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WI1'HIN TEiE CITY OF
REI3TON FROM UNCLASSIFIBD TO BUSINESS DIST1tICT (B-1)
WEiEREAS under Chapter VIY, Title IV (Business Regulations) of Orc�iaace No.
1628 known �s the "Code o# General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and
the maps adopted in con�unction therewith, the properky hereinbelow described has
heretofore been unclassified as to zoning, but is surrounded by properties zoned Business
District (B-1); and
WHEREAS at the owuer's request the Gity Cmu ncil has initfated action to

cisssify said property as Businees District (B-1) zone, aad by Motioa has du2y referred
the matter go the Planniag Commission for investigation�tudy a g, and
a ublfc hearin havin beea held thereon on or about J��Y� ��

to notice of heariag duly published and posted as provided by law; and said matter having
beea duly coaaidered by the Planning Commfssion which approves a�d reco�ends such
B-1 z�ning, aad the same bei�g in coaformity with the City's Comprehensive Plane, and
all pasties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition Chereto,
NOW TBEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED $Y THE MAYOR AND TH� CITY COUNCIL UF THB CITY OF RENTON A�
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The follawing described property ia the City of Renton is �!
hereby zoned Businesa District ($-�.~jj and the City Engineer and the Planning Director �
are hereby authorfzed and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordfnance, as amende�, �
to evidence said rezoning as follows:
Ail that portion of the following described property lytng EasC of a Ii�ae
40 feet easterly of and parallel with the north-south center=line of
Section]9, Townshig 23 North, Range S East, W.M.; southerly of existing
South margin of 7Ch avenue, and northerly of the exfsting narthwesterly
margin of Raiaier Avenue (State �iighway No. Z67); seid praperty described
as follows:
Commenciag at the North one-quarter corner of Section 19, Township 23,
North, Range 5 EBst� W.M. ruuning North 82�24' East 36 feet; thence South
1°58' West 34.3 feet to the true ppint of beginning; thence due East 30.02
feet; theace South 1°58' West 847.39 feet; thence South 75°45' West 2.0 feet;
thence North 0°15' West 847.34 f�et; thence due east 4,44 feet to the true
point of beginniag; contaiaing 0.353 acres more or less and lying and b�'
in the iVorthwest one-quaxter of the Northeast oae-quarter of Section 19,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. Said portion containing approxi-
mately 6,093 square feet, aIl situate in Renton, King County, Washington
