AN ORDINANCE OF TAE CITY OF RENTON, GIASHINGTON, AECLARING THAT
AI3 EMERGENCY EXISTS AND APPROPRIATING MONIES EOR THE PURPOSE OF
PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF NECESSARY EXPENSES AND CAPI�AL
OUTLAY HECESSI�ATED BY SUCH EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS since tl�e adoption of the 1966 Annual Budg�t of the City of
Renton, it has becou,e necessary to provide for the expenditure of certain €unds,
, to-wit: paynent for certain additions to the Rcnton Public Library now under con-
and other expenditures,
sCructionj all of which were not foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1966

Bud�eC, which/expenditures are necessary and required and are in the public interest
and for the public welfare, and '�
4JHEREAS it is necessary for the proper administration, operation and
maintenance of the City to appropriate funds for the paycaent of such expenditures,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITX COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS: ' "
SECTION I: The fore�oin� recitals and facts are hereby found and
determined by the City Council to be true and existin; and by reason thereof the Council
hereby declares that an emergency exists.
SECTION `�I: That there be and is hereby allowed and established the
folltawing suss for expendituresin the follocoing classificatfonsand said sums �kre
appropriated as herein set forth,to-wit;

SECTION IiI: This Ordinance is an emergency Ordinance which shall
not be voted upon until one week shall have elapsed after its introduction, and a
� capy thereof shail be published and posted as a proposed Ordinance, with a Notice of
the time set for vot3.ng thereon.
