W}iER�AS since tlie adoption of the 1966 Annual Budget of the C.IZ"Y OF REN�N.
it has betome necessary to provide €or the expenditure o€ certain funds, tfl-wits
the acquisition o€ certain lands for the CITY'S Municipal Airport necessitated by
reason of the relo�ation of the Inner Harbor Line, and such acquisition being nec-
e�sary aad reqv.ired and �ing in the public interest and for the public welfa�e,

WHEREAS it is necessary for the proper administration� operation aMd main-
tenance of the CITY, aad especia2ly the Renton Municipal Airport, to appropFiate
funds for the payment of auch acquisition o€ lands, I�IUW THEREFI�RE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAY�R AND TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF RE��N
AS FOLIAG7S:
SECTION I: The foregoing recitals and €acts are herehy found and d�eter�
mined by the City Council to be true and exis�ing and by reason thereof the Counci�
hereby declares that an emergency exists.
SECTION II:. That there be and is hereby allowed and establ ished tt�e
following sum for expenditure in the following classifieation and said stim �s
appropriated as herein set forth, to-wit:

SECTION I.Ti: This Ordinance is an emergency O rdinance which shall not be
voted upon until one week st�all have elapsed after its introduction, and a copy
thereof shall be published and p_�sted as a proQosed 0 rdinance, with notice of the
time set €or voting thereon.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect €tom and
' after its passage, app�oval and iegal publication.
